Wise Creek Hike
by Niki Queen
The day was sunny and warm as six GWS members and Kathy’s three dogs hiked the trail along the east bank of Wise Creek. Tim Gunter and his dog joined the group briefly about a mile upstream.
The trail, a little muddy, from last weeks rain, wound through hardwood bottoms and pines. A few wild flowers peeked through the leaves.
We had lunch on a brook with a scenic cascading waterfall that flows into Wise Creek downstream.
Trip participants were Kathy, Margaret, Lynn, David, Tim, Bud and Niki.
